Windows XP Time Adjustment

S

Scott Neslund

I have a number of workstations running Windows XP Pro. These are all
standalone non-domain machines. I am using these machines in a kiosk type
environment where anybody can use them. I have a web app that is being run
and it needs to synchronize the workstations time against the web server.
Since these machines are locked down for security purposes, what is the best
way for the system to update it's time automatically against our web server?

Thanks in advance.

If your webserver is running an NTP service so it can
act as a timeserver, then just point the kiosks at it with
net time /setsntp
command. net help time for info
