If you live in Oregon, there sure is! You can try thru
your local school administrator, some schools have
special programs where PCs are required for use at school
and also at home.
 
Yes, Microsoft offers an Academic discount to college students in the USA. Your campus bookstore should have the product available, or many on-line sources can provide this when you send them the required verification.

Hi Matt
Within the UK I've not seen a student edition being sold in box form like
they do with Office XP. If your college or university is a member of MSDN
Academic Alliance you can obtain Windows XP free from them for you to do
your work on, so worth checking. Even if they are not you might want to see
if it is possible to buy an academic version through your school.

Yes - your school should have arrangements for supply under Academic
license (probably Pro)
