Can someone give me detailed instructions on how to
remove programs that are
on when I startup XP every day.

I right clicked properties
I hit customized
I hit advanced

I don't see a list of programs to uncheck or know what to
do next. Thanks

Hi,

Click start/run, type in "msconfig", click "ok". Go to the startup tab.

Hi, Leadpipe.

Click Start | All Programs | Startup. Delete any that you don't want to
run. These usually are only "shortcuts"; deleting them will not delete or
install the programs, just the shortcuts that start them.
