I've searched on this, and I apologize if I've missed the answer because I
didn't use the right search terms.
I'm running Windows XP SP2. I have a DSL gateway which I use for my
internet access. However, on occasion, I need to access resources at the
University through my dial-up account. So I have had that set up as well.
What's driving me nuts is that if I attempt to view a web page and the
computer can't access the site through the DSL connection (it's down, or
the URL is wrong), then it wants to connect through the dial-up account.
Is there any way to get XP to ignore the dial-up connection?
I've been trying to solve this one for a year.
