Windows XP/SP2 My Network Places

I recently visited a website and now have that website stored in the
following directory "My Network Places/Entire Network". There are 3 entries
under this directory (Microsoft Terminal Services, Microsoft Windows Network
and Web Client Network).
I'd like to remove the website entry from these folder or remove the folders
themselves. When I access these entries, my computer shows the hour glass
with no action and I have to end the task. I attempted to remove the folders
but there is no delete option for them when I right click or press the delete
key.

How do I remove the traces of the website that was some how stored in my
network places?

More information would assist.

It may be possible that this 'junk' is part of what most call Spyware: but
who can tell from your incomplete posting.

Download or run Spybot Search and Destory. Do this in safe mopde to ensure
that no spurious process are started.

Destroy any crud that you find.

After that try 'deleting' all the internet history files and internet cache.
Use Disk CLeanup and afterwards run disk defrag.

Let's know if this help to eliminate your problems.

BAR, thank you for the advice, it worked fine.
Although, I do have an additional problem regarding the Microsoft Windows
Network folder. When I click on this folder it locks up my computer and
cntrl-alt-del reveals that it is not responding. Any idea as to what the
problem may be.
Also, when I ran disk cleanup, I've got Web Client Publisher file that won't
go away. Any idea as to why/how to get rid of them?
