I don't proclaim to be an Apple guy but didn't they do it with OSX? Thought
I had read somewhere that no older apps would run natively under the OSX

If you knew as much as you thought you know,
You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew!
You read the link? In summery, "use compatibility/classic mode", which
has OSX actually loading a copy of OS9 to run the program. Not too
different from what Windows and OS/2 do.
