windows xp (SP1)

I tried to download the windows xp service pack 1.When I
check my installation history it says the download is
still in progress.I started the download 2 days ago. any
suggestions on what to do?

If you are having problems downloading it you might try just getting a CD
from Microsoft with SP1.

O.k. but when I visit my update history it's listed still

Have you tried going back and restarting the download, Teresa?

Alternatively, have Micorosft scan your PC for suggested updates and see
what it comes up with.
