I initiated Windows XP Service Pack 1 Update several
times without knowing that the previously initiated
versions were still running, since I was uninformed on
how to check status.
Now I have 3 copies running for several days now (each
one takes 4 hours). Does anyone know how to get out of
this situation safely?
Help needed.
Thanks

1) What do you mean by "initiated"? Installed?

2) It takes 4 hours to do what?

He opened three instances of the SP1 install routine and they're all
installing at the same time.. because of this, they're going extremely slow.

I've never had anything like that happen, but I would kill all three
instances and start over again with ONE.
