windows XP, somehow time-related issues.

Hi. I've been having problems since I installed both the Spy Sweeper from
Webroot (anti spyware) and the latest version of McAfee anti virus at about
the same time.

Full briefing: Windows XP Home Edition, service pack 2, 512 MB RAM, computer
has USB adapter for wireless connection to router that is in another room
connected to the cable modem, no other computers in the network. I had been
using the anti spyware software of PCTOOLS for many months without any
problems.

The problems I will discuss here seem somehow related to the factor time.

A morning or afternoon boot, the one for the first time during the day,
usually causes the problems that I will mention here. When I reboot it,
sometimes using the registry mechanic from PCTOOLS to fix errors in the
registry, there is no problem. After that, I can shut down and reboot the
computer as many times as I want during the day (and evening?) without any
problems.

Shutting down the computer at 11:00 PM or 1:00 AM does not seem to make a
difference. It's the next reboot, in the morning or afternoon that follows
the shutdown in the evening or night, that produces the error messages and
then I need to reboot the computer to get it working.

I think this has been going on for two weeks or more. I (nearly?) always get
the error message c000021a and a message in Dutch that translates roughly as:
unrecoverable system error.

Other messages are usually also displayed after that one, but they are not
always the same. For example: status 0xc0000005 (0x75e53e86 0x0052e570

I'm sorry, I probably forgot to write down a )

Very recently, my computer apparently decided that more variation was
needed, and as an addition to the c000021a error message (or instead, I'm not
sure), it gives error messages related to my McAfee software. At least once a
McShield error, and perhaps other errors relating to my McAfee products as
well. This is in the same way time-related as the c000021a error. On at least
two occasions the anti virus software was deactivated at the first boot, but
the firewall was not.

I absolutely have no clue. Can someone explain me how this time issue works
? And second, how to fix the problems ? (I can probably try to have only one
anti spyware program booting up, but I'd like a better solution if one can be
found.) Normally the two anti virus programs do not cause problems/interact
in any undesirable way.

Any practical help and insight will be appreciated.

Unfortunately, my display name seems right to the point.

Initial thoughts a virus. In which case a reinstallation of windows would be
a good move.
Less stressful options listed below;

Try ad-aware from lavasoft instead of what you have, if the problem only
arose when you installed these programs, then there was possibly a faulty
installation file in one or the other, try uninstalling the offending items
and using others e.g ad-aware and AVG antivirus (both available from
www.download.com), i've used ad-aware for years with no serious problems, and
after a scan my pc's perfomance always improves
