My Windows shuts down with an error message that says it
is shutting down to protect my pc. A totally blue screen
appears with the message. I happens several times a
day. Does anyone know why and what to do to correct this?

What you are talking of is the dreaded 'Blue screen of
death'! Dont panic, you will need to write down the error
msg from the top of the screen and also the number at the
bottom of the screen. Try doing a search the web for the
error msg. You should be heaped with all the info in the
world about your problem.
Hope this gets you going in the right direction.
