windows xp setup

pls tell me if how can i remove the windows xp setup
option during bootup coz i tried to upgrade from windows
98 to win xp and installation was aborted

Hi,

you need to edit this file boot.ini. this is a hidden
file and you will have to change the attributes to enable
modification. in this file you will have two lines. one
for windows 98 and hte other for the setup of windows xp.
delete the second line. save and then reboot.
