Windows XP Service Pack 3 - Pirate?

Guest

I've just been working in a company that has new PCs with a Vista Lookalike
front screen Saying Windows XP Service Pack 3 ditributed by Amit Talkin -
this is obviously not a Microsoft product I suspect but is it a pirate
version of the OS - what is the easiest way to tell? They are not all
connected to the internet - I had thought of running the Genuine Advantage
tool but can this be downloaded and run offline?

Windows XP doesn't have a Service pack 3. Anything that say's differently is
a pirated copy.

Since there is no such thing as Service Pack 3 for Windows XP, it can not be
legitimate.
Did they start with legitimate Windows XP and add some type of 3rd party
update claiming to be SP-3?
Or is the operating system illegitimate from the beginning.
Knowing those answers will help guide you in the next steps.

Does the company have an IT department?
If so, they need to deal with this.
If not who maintains the computers?
