Windows XP Service Pack 2

After updating to Xp Service Pack 2 I re-booted. Now the computer re-boots
repeatedly on it own and is unusable. I have tried to reboot from the
recovery disk but am ask for the adminstrator password....who knows what this
is? Some guy at the factory preloaded. Suggestions?

To perform a repair installtion you do *not* go to the recovery console

Instead...you procede as if you were installing XP...
and the installer *should* detect your OS and ask if you want to repair
it...

say yes of course
