Windows XP Service pack 1

Hi

I am using windows Xp - Home. When applying the service
pack 1 update, all of the files download fine but about
half way through installing the update, i get an access
denied message. i have reinstalled XP and have got the
same error.

Any ideas?

Hi Kymble,

Does your account have administrator priviledges? If not, you need to
restart in Safe mode and log on as administrator, then give your account
that level.
