Windows XP Scroll Bar

Can someone tell me why my Windows XP scroll bar advances
more than one screen when I click under the bar? It
actually goes about 1 1/2 screens and sometimes all the
way to the bottom. This happens in all programs.

Hi,

It's caused by a recently released WindowsUpdate, KB824145. The solution,
for now, is to uninstall the update (Control Panel/Add & Remove) until it is
fixed. No, I don't know when that will be, but Microsoft *is* acutely aware
of the issue.
