Help..

I went into my add/remove folder to remove something from
my computer. While there I noticed that I have a list of
about 15 or so windows xp quick fixes and I have no idea
what they are, why they are there and what I should do
with them.....Can anyone give me some info? Feel free to
email me...Thank You, Krista.

Those files are your Windows Updates. Better to keep them.
You may need them.

These are Microsoft's security patches and hotfixs as they
call them. If you have had your machine running for a
while then the entry can be deleted from the add\remove
program list. www.dougknox.com has a neat little tool on
his site that will remove the entries but not the actual
hotfix and at the same time will remove the backups that
were created and wasting your space. Keep smiling.

They relate to Windows Updates that you might wish to remove. See what
they are about -
Windows Hotfix Qnnnnnn (or KBnnnnnn) is described at
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;nnnnnn

If you decide you do bot want to remove one, you can delete the files
that have been saved to allow this - the folder
C:\Windows\$NTUninstallQnnnnnn$
Once the is deleted then if you try the related Remove it will fail and
you will be able to delete the entry there
