I am computer dumb. I just took my PC in to have it de-bugged, more memory,
and Windows XP Proffessional installed. I did not receive a XP CD. It was
working great. One of my daughters teenage friends got on line and the next
day our computer starts with the screen that states all the computer
information, then XP gets ready to start, but the computer starts rebooting
and going through this same process again. How can I fix this? Remember, I am
computer dumb! Thanks.

It's likely you're now infected with either a virus or spyware. To get back
into windows, start up the computer and begin tapping the F8 key (once every
2 secs or so) shortly after you begin to see information on the screen.
This hopefully will bring you into "Windows Advanced Options Menu" and will
offer you a number of choices for booting windows. Select "Safe Mode" and
see if you can load windows, if not try "Last Known Good Configuration."
Once into windows you need to do a thorough scan for viruses and spyware.
If you can't access "Windows Advanced Options Menu" or none of the boot
options work then there isn't much you can do without the CD but take it
back to whomever installed XP and have them fix it (you might get the CD
while you're at it.)

Note: Anytime you receive an error message write down everyting given you
as this is helpful in troubleshooting.
