Windows XP Professional repair Issue

During running a repair of XP Professional it goes fine until it is losding
the *.DL_ files and it cannot see them on the CD, this is the original CD. I
can browes and see them but the install does not. Any help.

With the OS under a "repair" installation in DOS,how do you browse
the cd & locate the Dll files...Either way,why not do a clean xp install and
not have the issue.

Because my wife has not backed up her pictures, documents or mail box

What is the reason for doing this? And you should always have back ups of
your pictures / documents etc, never leave it until something like this
happens.

It is my wife's computer and I do not touch it unless asked. She has an
external hard drive with backup software but she never hooked it up. My
system is always backed up running raid 10 on 6 drives and a 7th IDE drive I
use for automatic backups.
