Windows XP PRO

I have had windows XP PRO for a while. It came with SP1. well after I
downloaded and installed SP2 my computer does really weird things.
Applications open and close themselves and stuff like that. I have check and
I have no viruses or spyware on my computer. I am all about security and
have 2 virus scanners, I think 2 ad/spyware scanners and on top of windows XP
firewall I have a secondary + my serfor for my home network is firewall

You have too much stuff running at once. Choose one
anti-virus and one firewall and temporarily disable the
other anti-virus and firewall and see what happens.
BTW, if you have Norton Personal Firewall or Zone
Alarm firewall, use that instead of what's built into
WinXP since those firewalls check for trojans calling
home and propagating worms, etc., and the WinXP
firewall doesn't.

I have Norton auto protect and zone alarms on all the time...I jsut
occaisionally run the other programs. as a back up scanner. I have to
manually start the other one.
 
I would have said it was a virus but as you mentioned you are running u
to date. Do you have graphic programmes running like Premiere o
Photoshop? I had similar issues, but just learned to deal with it
Other than that, dissable programs from running at startup except fo
antivirus and see if you get the same issue. Could just be a softwar
conflict
