This is the command line that we are using to make sure the backup runs:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntbackup.exe backup "@E:\backups\daily.bks" /n "Media
created 9/28/2004 at 11:11 AM" /d "Set created 9/28/2004 at 11:11 AM" /n
"Media created 9/28/2004 at 11:11 AM" /v:yes /r:no /rs:no /hcn /m
incremental /j "Daily" /l:s /p "Travan" /um
When the backup fails we receive no error in the log except that the backup
failed. We have tried replacing the tapes and even most of the hardware. When
I spoke to Certance(Seagate) about the problem they said that there is
nothing wrong with the tape drive and that there is a known issue with the
scheduling for the backup software. Thank you in advance for any help.
