Windows XP Pro Locks During Install

Hi, I just got a new system setup and I went to install Windows XP Pro SP1
from my CD but it locks up everytime. I am trying to install to a Western
Digital 200GB SATA HD and it keeps locking up during install (It's plugged
into SATA1 port). I boot to the CD, hit F6 and load the SATA Raid controller
drivers, it loads the setup files and then I hit enter to start instillation.
I accept the EULA and then try to partition and format the drive. It sees the
drive ok but when I try to partition the drive it locks the computer up. I
also tried using the WD Setup CD that came with the drive to partition and
format the drive so that I can just leave the disk alone and just install
windows but when I get to that point and tell windows to install it locks up.

I've run a memory tester from www.memtest86.com for hours on end and memory
tests ok. I've run the standard and extended test on the WD Setup disk, I
even low level formated it and wrote zero's to the entire drive and
everything worked fine.

Windows just wont load. Help!

System Specs:
Abit KV7 Mobo
AMD Athelon XP 2600+
WD 200GB SATA
2x 512MB Corsair DDR266 DIMM
ATI Radion 9600XT VGA card at 8X AGP
350W Aspire Power Supply
Aspire ATX case
