Windows XP Pro: How To Re-Enable Sounds In MSN Chat rooms !!

Hi

I've Just noticed that when I join MSN Chat Room ,, The Chat Room Sounds are not playing anymore !!

ChatInvt wave sound ( When You invite someone or You get invited to a Chat Room)
ChatJoin Wave Sound (When You or someone join the chat Room)
ChatKick Wave Sound (When You or someone get kicked out from the Room)
ChatTag Wave Sound (When You Tag Someone)
ChatWhsp Wave Sound ( When You go to Whisper someone In The Chat room)

*The Chat Room Options 'Play Sound' Tab is checked
*Sound Theme is Saved
*All Other Audio , Video CD and DVD Sounds are ok !! ( I tested them all thru Media Player and Real One)
*All Audio and sound Devices and Drivers are ok
*All Wave Sound Applications/Icons are available in: C\Windows\Media (I tested them .. They are ok)
*Trouble Shooting came out with no Results

My Problem is only in MSN Chat rooms !! Sounds are not playing anymore !

How To Re-Enable Sounds In MSN Chat rooms

Hi

I've Just noticed that when I join MSN Chat Room

There's sounds in those rooms? I occasionally drop by in the XP Expert Zone
room and have never noticed any sounds. Perhaps not all rooms use sounds?

You could go to your Windows\Downloaded Programs folder and delete the chat
controls for MSN. When you revisit, they will reinstall. There was a recent
update to these - last week. Perhaps you missed it or they did not install
correctly.
