Hi,

I have recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 2000
professional to Windows XP professional. Then when ever I
try to connect to the internet through my ADSL modem
(external) using the USB cable, the system hangs up, so
that I cant even use the keyboard or the short key
[Ctrl+Alt+Delete] to End task or restart.

I've scanned the system with Norton Antivirus and I
haven't found any problem with it. I've used Ad-aware too
and I cleaned the system from web junks. Now I don't know
what is the problem and where is it in my laptop, please
can any one help.!!?

Regards,

Did you have to install any drivers that came with your modem? You may want
to check with your ISP/modem manufacturer to see if they have updated
drivers that may solve this problem.
