Hello,
try this:
Try using the Media Center key when prompted to enter the product key.
You will be prompted for the Windows XP Professional key later in
setup(during GUI mode portion of setup).
I have seen this happen several times, most frequently with Windows Media
Center upgrades but it's not limited to them.
The product that it is looking for is the product key of the installed OS,
I suspect it's reading the wrong version of pidgen.dll for some reason at
that point in setup. I have tried to repro this a number of times and not
been able to.
Thanks,
Darrell Gorter[MSFT]
