Windows Xp pro firewall

I have been updating the one computer at my wife's work that has XP pro on
it. I don't find the security center under the control panel(like XP home).
Is it not in pro or are there still updates out there to download? I'm at my
home computer right now, so I cannot tell you what service packs are
installed.

She works for a non-profit church day care. Would she be able to use any of
the free firewalls, AV, or antispyware programs? Or would they have to
purchase a license?

Thanks

The Security Center is a feature of XP Service Pack#2.
To make sure what service pack is installed on the machine:-
Start>Run>Type in:"winver"(without any quotes)>ok

She can easily use free tools without having any problems.

This answer is not correct in all cases.
AVG specifically prohibits non-profits from using their free edition.
"AVG Free Edition is not intended for non-profit organizations. Grisoft
supports discounts for:
schools
charities
churches
municipal and government organizations".

I haven't checked other apps, but the EULA should spell out any limitations.
I doubt there's much chance of getting caught, but most businesses will want
to comply with the software developer's rules.
