Windows XP pro crashes no responce to mouce or keyboard

Hi, i am a new user basically i installed windows xp a while back, it ran ok
for a while but then it just startined freezing, mouse or keyboard both would
not respond and theres no other choice but to restat with the button on the
cpu, ive tried several things to resolve the issue including reinstalling
sound card, i have a sound blaster live, wich xp installs on its own... i
checked the event viewer there were two errors that were reported right
after crash a DCOM error and a ACPI error:

I have started noticing the same thing in our office. It has now happened to
about 10 pc's. I was wondering if Server 2003 SP1 was at fault but obviously
not.

Any ideas?
