Windows XP Printing Issue - Very Strange!

I have a user on windows XP with a printer connected locally (Kyocera
FS-4000DN). When I attempt to print to the MPF of the printer, it
beeps and displays the message "Set paper and press go", which
according to the manual means that the printer is not recognizing the
paper in the feeder. The strange thing is that when I share out the
printer and have another user print remotely to that printer, it prints
without issue which leads me to believe that its a local XP Pro
workstation. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

Does the printer have more than one paper tray? You could be trying
to print to a tray that contains no paper.

If that doesn't help, I'd un-install the printer on the main computer,
then re-install and re-share it.
