Hi there,
I haven't been using my "old" computer (runs Win XP) for a
while. Now I wasnted to use it but I had it password
protected. The hint didn't helped me to get into the
system. What can I do to get into windows and my files?

If that doesn't work out, you might try to reset the local Administrator
