Has anyone else had this problem? I subscribe to McAfee
Anti Virus. Suddenly the tasks scheduling stopped. The
message given is that it is due to my Windows XP password
expiring. I have tried to no avail to conquer this
problem and am very discouraged. Should I get out of
McAfee??? What can I do? Does anyone else have this
problem?

Have you checked your password expiry time? The default is 42 days but to
prevent the password from expiring it is better to set the maximum password
age to 0 (zero)
Go to control panel and click on administartive tools icon. In admin tools
click the local security settings icon. When the local security settings
window opens click on Account policies in the left pane of the window. Next
click Password policy. Look in the right hand pane and you will see a list.
Left click your mouse on Maximum Password Age and select Properties from the
drop down menu. When the properties window opens you should see a dialog box
'Password will expire in' with, assuming you haven't changed anything, 42
days inside. Change this to 0 (zero). Now click Apply followed by OK to exit
and then exit the local security setting window. Finally exit admin tools
and control panel.
