I have installed Windows XP onto my laptop which also has
Windows 2000 loaded. In XP I can not access my office
programs, I get error message (run setup from place
office originally installed). I can run office in W2000
but reinstalling in W2000 seems to have no affect in XP.
I can't install office from within XP as it believes it
is already installed. I tried uninstalling in W2000 but
still cant install in XP

Any ideas ?

The laptop is standalone although it used to be connected
to a workplace network (no longer available). I am
installing from the CD-drive
