Windows XP now in Portuguese

I took my Sony Vaio into a computer shop today, here in Sao Paulo. I bought
the machine 2 years ago in the USA. Today, the technician reinstalled using
Portuguese software. Is there any way to get my machine back to English and
back to it's original form? I've lost giga pocket and God only knows what
else. Please help me.

Reinstall from the media/restoration method the system came with when you
purchased it.

Does, "... I've lost giga pocket ..." mean you have spent your money
unwisely *or* is "giga pocket" some application *or* do you mean you have
lost lots of data (gigabytes of data)?

Without the original restoration system in place - you may be out of luck.
 
No, no...giga pocket came with the computer originally. Since this guy
installed xp portuguese, it's no longer on the computer. I'm afraid he's
installed an entirely new operating system and there is no way to recover.
I'm so angry.
 
Time to go back to the "guy" and have him make it right, or get your money
back.
