Windows XP not responding to IGMP v3 query

Anybody know how to make Windows XP to respond to IGMP v3
query. Currently , my Windows XP PC with Window Media
Player 9 is not responding to IGMP v3 query. It onlys
send IGMP membership report during intial connections.
The Player will get the Multicast video stream and it
plays for a while. Eventually the IGMP group in my router
timeout because the Windows XP pc is not responding to its
IGMP query. Has anyone run into this issue. How can you
configure the Windows XP/Media Player so that it will
responses to IGMP v3 query after it started playing the
multicast video stream.

Kwok - are you sure that the router is performing IGMP v3 queries?
Is it possible that the router queries are IGMPv2 and XP joins with IGMPv2
initially but won't respond to the membership queries afterwards.
Can you clairfy?
