hi all,
i'm trying to stream a movie (mpeg2-ts) to an ip multicast address
239.255.0.2 using VLC from a win2k machine 192.168.0.1, but a client on
a winxp pro 192.168.0.2 (newly installed) didnt receive anything. my
friend has winxp pro 192.168.0.3 and he didnt have any problem.
on the 192.168.0.2 machine:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
c:>netsh routing ip igmp> show global
Internet Group Management Protocol must be installed first.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
ethereal on 192.168.0.2 also captured udp message from 192.168.0.1 to
239.255.0.2
so i conclude it's bcs IGMP is not installed on 192.168.0.2 (correct
me).
the question is, how to install IGMP? there seems no option on windows
components wizard (add/remove programs) for IGMP.
thanks for attention and help in advance
