When I turn the computer on the black screen with the Windows and the sign
Windows Xp start and it loads but it keeps louding forever and nothing
happens, but when I turn off and turn back on again there will be choice to
start Window's in Safe mode, Safe with network, then Last setting, and then
Normal mode. The safe and Safe with network modes work, but the normal mode
is not working which has all my files and documents. Any ideas what the
problem could be?
PLEASE HELP ME AS THIS IS VERY CONFUSING TO ME.

All the files are available in safe mode as well, so if you don't have a
full backup, now is the time to do so. This could be do to a device driver
problem. Have you added any new hardware or updated drivers for current
hardware or done a windows update where drivers were updated? If so go into
device manager and roll back the driver for that device. To get into device
manager, right click My Computer | Manage | Device Manager. Double click
the hardware device in question, click on the Driver tab and then Roll Back
Driver. Another option from Safe Mode is to do a System Restore to a date
right before the problem started. From Start | Help and Support click on
System Restore.

Actually when I open it in the Safe Mode, none of my files are there, also I
tried setting it to a date where it was working, the system starts loading
and doing and shuts it down automatically but then again the black loading
Window xp screen comes and again keeps loading forever....
I haven't added or updated anything, I was using it then closed the top and
moved to another room and then when openned the labtop up the loading and
loading happened and kept waiting for it to start but never started.... HELP!
lol

That doesn't make any sense that your files are not accessible in safe mode.
Safe mode loads a limited set of basic drivers so some functions are not
accessible but it doesn't restrict access to data, so I don't know what's
going on.

At this point the main thing is safe guarding the data. Do you have a
current backup? If not do that first. Here are some options for that.

I would work first on backing up the data. Here are some options on how to
do that.

1. Take the drive out of the computer, put it in an external hard drive
enclosure or attach an appropriate adaptor, and connect it through USB to
another another Windows XP or 2000 computer. It should read the drive ok, so
you can copy the data.

2. Create a bootable Bart's PE disk, boot from that, then copy the data to
external USB drive or flash drive.

3. Download a bootable Linux distro called Knoppix. Create a bootable CD
from that, boot from it, and copy the data to USB drive or flash drive, or
if the computer has two CD drives, one of which is a burner, then use the
k3b burning program on the Knoppix CD to burn the data to CD.

4. Take it to a competent computer tech to backup the data.

Once the data is backed up, return the drive to the computer, do a repair
install.
