Since you have a wireless router, you don't need, and shouldn't set
up, XP's Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). The wireless router gives
Internet access to both computers.

If you've enabled ICS on either of the computers, disable it.
Configure both computers' network connections to obtain an IP address
automatically. The wireless router will make the necessary settings.

Steve,
I have a similar problem. How do I know if I have ICS set
up on my system, and what is svchost.exe and why is it
always running at 30-50% of CPU?
Thanks,
