We have a new XP client on a Microsoft Client Network. There are 3 other
machines running Windows 2000.
Each of the 4 PCs has a shared folder. All machines automatically login at
boot time, there are "mapped drives" to each remote folder.
The XP machine ran just fine for 3 days. For no apparent reason it requires
manual login to each of the shared drives on the other machines.
After reboot. Login to the shared drives. Every time.
Once the machine is logged in, it occasionally asks for the username /
password for the destination folder again.
Norton AV has been on the machine since day 1, fully updated, we believe
this problem is not virus related.
