Windows XP keeps me clicking

Okay, may be simple but complex for me at this time. When
I have a a window open, whether it be for my email,
notepad, web page, whatever...I have to continually
reclick the page I have open to keep selected on it. Even
if it is the only window open on my desktop it will
deselect after 30 seconds (one day it was every 3
seconds...grrr) which forces me to click on it with my
mouse to make it THE page I want to work on. This gets
aggravating when I am trying to type on the page. For
instance I have already had to click on this page 4
times. I am hoping someone out there can help me...make
that 5 clicks! Thanks

You may have some spyware running on your PC. First, make sure your
Internet connection has the firewall enabled (Network Connections,
right-click internet connection, Properties, Advanced, enable Internet
Connection Firewall). Next, download Ad-Aware (free) from the following
site and run on your PC. This will detect and remove spyware and adware
programs from your computer.

You should also run Windows Update and make sure you are up to date with the
latest patches for a leaky operating system.
