Windows Xp installed new

I installed Windows XP as a new install in a new
directory called C:\Win. I left windows 98 on my c drive
under the old windows directory. I am trying to bring up
my MsOffice Proffesional products access/word/excel etc.
I am not able to execute them from the windows directory.
What do I need to do? I am without my CD for MsOffice.

Then you're probably stuck. The new OS doesn't know the apps are
installed. The only way out is to boot in to the new OS, put the
Office CD in and install the apps. You can put them into the same
directory they are already in, the installation will make the
appropriate registry entries in the new OS.
