Hello,
A client of mine had a custom built computer with windows 98. It has a 933
MHz processor and 256 mb ram. His hard drive died recently and he bought a
new one as well as Windows XP professional. I installed Windows XP and tested
it one my computer. However, when I took it to his computer and hooked it up,
it started booting then had a black screen with a white progress bar moving
across the bottom. However, when it got to the end it froze. It has done this
numerous times. Is this a BIOS problem or does it seem like some other
hardware problem? I now that the installation was successful because it
worked fine on my system. Also the computer does recognize the hard drive.
