Will the Lenovo laptop boot to a usb device?
What brand, type, size is the internal hd?

Take the internal hd out of the laptop and put it in another computer.
Partition it with FAT32 and two partitions. Put the i386 directory and its'
subs in the second partion. Make the first partition bootable to a command
prompt. Install from the second partition. Convert to ntfs later if you
want to.

charles....

-Ebay item 130034071467 is the kind of thing you need. And a desktop PC, of
course.
