My system is telling me to reinstall my XP disk, some
parts are missing,. I have my disk but cannot locate the
reg # I then tried Micro Soft Customer Service area and
was prompted to give them the prod. code. They suggested
selecting the start menue and then the HELP. Well when I
did that it says to reinsert my XP and reinstall. Sounds
good but I am still missing the 25 digit #. Who and how
can I contact M.S. to resolve my problem.

If your system is working enough to boot, there are any number of
programs (a dozen or more) that will give you the product key from the
actual running installed system. My preference is Aida, but there are a
dozen or more others, and they are free.
