Hello

Is there a way within Windows XP home that you set your self up as the
administrator of the home computer and limit the abilty of other users
that are not administrators to download and install or Unistall
programs as in Win2000 or XP Pro. I cannot seem to find a way, I have
looked under administrative tools but the option is not there.

You've posted in a newsgroup for the Vista operating system. For
brevity's sake, I'll give you the answer but further questions about XP
should be posted in one of its newsgroups -
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general is a good starting place.

If you have XP Home, you can use MVP Doug Knox's Security Console or the
MS Steady State.
