Hi,
i have a problem with one windows XP Home-Computer in a Domain.
I connected te xp Home Computer like the other xp-Home Computer by inserting
the DNS-Suffix to the DNS-Name.
While the other computer -also running xp Home- connect to the domain after
they login to the computer after startind it, this one computer starts the
Domain-Connectes not before you try to connect to a mapped drive on the
server. When you click on the mapped drive, the user is asked for his
account and the password. But ther is no logon-Screen at the start of
windows.
This whole thing wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't a printer. Bur when
the user tries to use the network printer he isn't asked for the
username/password, but he just doesn't get a connection to the printer.
