Windows XP home Updates

Good Morning,
When I scan my computer for the latest updates do these
apply to ''my'' computer? Often, I am not sure if I
should update some of these things since they don't look
familar. I do all the critical updates and I do read to
see what should be installed separately from the others.
As far as the Windows XP and the driver updates,
sometimes I not sure about them. Any help would be
appreciated.

Hi, Karen,

The only ones you need to update are the critical ones.
The recommended ones are up to the user.
Many of them only take up space and are not needed.
