Windows XP Home to XP Pro upgrade problem

Hello,
I have an HP running XP Home. I need to upgrade to XP Pro for some new
applications software. After entering the key code, the system runs a
compatibility test and I get the follwoing:

********************************************************************

Windows XP Upgrade Compatibility

********************************************************************

NVIDIA AGP filter
=================

The currently installed driver for the NVIDIA NForce device is not
compatible with this version of Microsoft Windows. Setup will not be able to
complete.

To download a new NVIDIA NForce driver, visit NVIDIA's Web site
(www.nvidia.com). Web addresses can change, so you might be unable to connect
to this Web site.

For a list of devices supported by this version of Windows, see the list of
compatible hardware on the Microsoft Web site.

HP OfficeJet
============

The following Hewlett-Packard printers, which might have been installed on
your system, might not function properly under Microsoft Windows XP using the
printer drivers that are currently installed:

HP OfficeJet G Series Printer
HP OfficeJet K Series Printer

If you uninstall this driver before upgrade, Windows XP Setup will install a
compatible driver.

To obtain a more recent version of this printer driver, visit the
manufacturer's Web site at
http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd=whistler&ar=Printing&O1=hp. Web
addresses can change, so you might be unable to connect to this Web site.

The problem is I do not have any devices that are Ndivia. I have searched
the registry for Ndivia but I don't get any hits.

Any suggestions on how to get around this problem?

Thanks for any help

Why not do as you're asked?
Check your video adaptor type in Device Manager - it's probably Nvidea (note
the correct spelling)
Just make sure you install the drivers from the Manufacturer site, don't use
the Generic XP ones.

1. XP Pro doesn't need a different driver for any device from that used by XP
Home!
2. You say 'I do not have any devices that are Ndivia'. I have searched
the registry for Ndivia but I don't get any hits. The product is NVIDIA and
it is nt found in registry but in device manager, or for the AGP card you can
find it in display properties. Open up either of these and et Windows to
search for an updated driver when you are online.
3. Did you search the web site listed?
4. During the installation of the upgrade disconbnect the printer, then
reconnect after the upgrade is completed: if it requires a new driver, go
online to HP and look for an XP driver: they may not have passed the Windows
Hardware Quality check, but they will work.

Overall you shouldn't have a problem upgrading.

Let me try again!
I have searched the device manager, and the the display adapter settings but
I do not have a Nvidia graphics card. I have an Intel 82810E with Intel
drivers. So, if I do get an updated Nvidia driver from the web, how will
that help?
Also, I do not have nor ever had an HP printer on this machine, so again how
will updating the HP Printer driver help. I would think the system would
reject these drivers since the hardware is NOT present.
