Hi

I set up my home network for file and print sharing using the home network
setup wizard, we have now converted to a wireless network with a network
printer that everyone can use, I now want to take off this file and print
sharing from my pc and to revert my pc back to stand alone, but cannot find
anything that states how to do this.

Thanks

Steve

Steve,

There are 2 ways - if you want to disable File and Print sharing for the
whole computer - in Control Panel, use Windows Firewall and on Exceptions
uncheck File and Print sharing.

If you want to disable File and Print sharing for one network adapter (if
you use wired and wireless) - in Control Panel, use Network Connections,
right click on network adapter that you want to change, choose properties and
uncheck File and Print sharing.

Hope that helps.
