windows xp home edition product key

is it possible to geta duplicate of the key needed to
install xp on my laptop?
it used to be on the bottom of the comp but has worn off
over time

Dell keep records, doubt if you can get anything from
BestBuy or any retailer. You might be able to get the key
from Gateway or Toshiba by serial number.

You might also get the key by use of AIDA32 if the computer
will still boot and they used the product key to install the
OS.
