Windows XP home edition critical updates and Service Packs

I've noticed lately that my computer is constantly
downloading critical update KB 810217. Is there a flaw
somewhere or is this update being update that much.

There is a newsgroup specifically for Windows Update
issues microsoft.public.windowsupdate
The first thing those in that newsgroup will likely ask
is whether you have yet followed advise in the WU
troubleshooting page
