Windows XP Home edition and NT Domains

Hey,

I was wondering if there is any way that i can make my
computer running windows xp home edition join a nt
domain. I am open to any suggestions.

Hi -

Unfortunately there isn't. You can access domain
resources with XP Home, but the machine cannot join a
domain - you need XP Professional for that.

Okay, now that I'm re-reading my post, that sounded like a dumb question. I
do see the "connect using a different username" option in Map Network
Drive... but then it's a saved password.

I don't want to have to remap my drives every time my domain password
expires. Is it smart enough to ask me for the new password, or am I going
to find myself locked out the way Win 98 (I think it was, maybe 95) used to
do with saved mapped network drives?
