Windows XP Fast Start

EMachines 2.7GHz Celeron, 60 GB hard drive 512 M ram.
I am using Windows XP Home in fast start mode(switch users without logging
off). I have an HP4150 multi function printer. When I print duplex, the
computer displays a prompt to turn the paper around and re-insert before
continuing. The problem is that this prompt is being directed to another
user(whether they are logged on or not) some of the time. I have to switch
users to their profile, click continue and then return to my profile(I am the
only user with Admin priviledges).
Does anyone know if this is a Windows issue or an issue with the HP
Software. I tried HP support with no HELP.

This also happens sometimes when scanning.

Help!!
 
Switch users is a problematic convenience, and the software
manufacturers don't always consider the possible consequences that the
use of that "feature" does. Either stop using Fast user switching, or
live with the problem.
